Continuing education credit for TF-CBTWeb2.0 is awarded on a module-by-module basis; however, all modules (i.e., the entire course) must be completed in order to receive credit.

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is an approved provider of continuing education for South Carolina mental health professionals. This online training course, TFCBTWeb2.0, has been approved for 11 contact hours of continuing education. A Certificate of Completion is available for printing when you submit the final evaluation.

The National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at MUSC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6512. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at MUSC has also been approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Department’s Office of Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content, and approves TFCBTWeb2.0 for 11 APA CE credits. To obtain APA credits, participants must complete the course evaluation and an overall course post-test successfully. Receipt of APA CEs is then added automatically to the learner’s completion certificate.

Unfortunately, TF-CBTWeb2.0 staff is not able to provide authoritative answers about continuing education requirements in every state for every profession. You may need to contact your state licensing organization to get definitive answers. We are happy to try to help, however. If you have questions regarding continuing education for this course or Certificates of Completion, please email your question to tfcbt@musc.edu
